The Great Silence 2013: A Contemplative Retreat

This year a small group of people met April 16-18, 2013 to share silence in community at Lakeview Methodist Conference Center near Palestine, Texas.  Wednesday was a beautiful day with sunny skies and a few clouds.  As we experienced a shift into deeper silence and the mystery of God through the night, nature drew us into stormy weather on Thursday.  What a difference a day makes!
